Unfortunately, these giants seem to be actively opposing the launch of  Ligue 1+  instead.

They are demanding the removal of restrictions regarding match selections every other week, wishing to retain the ability to choose the top matches, particularly those involving teams like  Paris Saint-Germain (PSG)  and  Olympique de Marseille (OM) . This strategy would, in essence, deprive  Ligue 1+  of access to compelling matchups that draw viewers and create buzz. Moreover, the tactic of offering BeIN access for free to select Canal+ subscribers for a year indicates a well-orchestrated attempt to stymie the new platform’s takeoff.
