It became clear during the IOC congress in the Olympic city of Paris on Wednesday. In his address to Congress, Utah Gov. President and CEO of Salt Lake City-Utah 2034, Fraser Bullock, in his speech directed support to the World Anti-Doping Agency’s (WADA) fight for clean sport. – We strongly support WADA’s mission, and we are grateful to everyone who globally fights for a clean sport, said Bullock. Earlier at the congress, France was awarded the 26th Olympic Winter Games in 2030. The announcement was as expected, after the IOC in June proposed the city as an Olympic host in 2034. The other applicants, including Sweden, joined the practical wreckage. The United States hosted the Winter Olympics in 1932, 1960, 1980 and in 2002, the latter of which was held in Salt Lake City. Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo in Italy will host the 2026 Winter Olympics.
