– The goats want to come back in at 3pm on the day. Today only half of them came. That’s what farmer and owner of the goats, Paul Langrusten from Heidal, says. He usually has 95 goats, but now as many as 43 of them are missing. All the missing are probably stuck in the rock wall at Åsengjuvet in Heidal. Åsengjuvet is known for its extreme and wild nature with steep mountain sides on both sides of the river. – I haven’t had it rain completely, but that’s what was missing, says Langrusten. – It’s 90 degrees straight down, says the owner. Photo: Even Lusæter / news The missing goats were discovered by someone else. The farmer was then alerted to the goats and went over to look at them. – It’s 90 degrees straight down. They are on shelves, and it is probably difficult for them, he says. – Don’t know why they have made the trip there. They have not gone there before, he says. Now he will get help from someone to save them from falling into the river Sjoa which flows at the bottom of the gorge.
