16 February 2023 at 12:00 Camilla Bjørn (39) new program director at news Camilla Bjørn has been hired as the new program director at news. The position has been newly created and Bjørn will lead the new Program Division, which is a merger of the Marine Light Division and the Production Department in the Technology Division. The division will be the country’s largest production environment and will consist of around 975 employees. – I am very happy to have Camilla Bjørn join the team, says broadcasting manager Vibeke Fürst Haugen. Camilla Bjørn has been program editor for P3 for the past six years. She worked at VG for 11 years before announcing her transfer to news. Bjørn starts his job as program director on 1 April. – It is important to us that we reach out with our content to everyone in Norway, also on our digital platforms. To make it happen, we have to use the expertise and resources that are in news in the best possible way, says Camilla Bjørn.
