2 July 2024 at 03:31 Cabin caught on fire near Kristiansand – five people evacuated The emergency services have moved to Sumatra in Kristiansand following a report of a fire in a cabin. Five people who were in the cabin have been accounted for. The cabin has caught fire, there are no other buildings in the immediate vicinity, reports Agder police district. The fire brigade must go out in a boat, as there is no road to the cabin. – It is not yet known whether any of the five have been injured as a result of the fire, they will be checked by health personnel, operations manager Øyvind Hægeland at the Agder police district tells news. In an update at 03.42, the police state that the fire is spreading in the terrain. The police reported the fire at 03.21 Tuesday night.
