Just before 2:30 p.m., the police state that the passengers evacuated themselves and are on their way out of the bus. There are no reports of personal injury. – The accident appears to be less serious. What probably happened was that the bus came driving on the road and met another vehicle, and the road was not wide enough for both. The bus ended up outside the lane. And then they couldn’t open the doors, and the passengers couldn’t get out, says operations manager in the police, Kjetil Kålsås. The police reported around 2.10pm that the passengers did not get out of the bus. The bus was full of Dutch tourists. E10 Lofoten was closed for a period as a result of the run-off, but at 15.10 the road was reopened to traffic.
