Britney Spears caused a significant uproar on a private jet Thursday, leading to authorities meeting her after she disembarked the plane.
Multiple sources indicate to TMZ that Britney was flying with her security team from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to LAX when she began consuming alcoholic beverages, subsequently pulling out a cigarette and lighting it up.
The flight attendants, visibly alarmed, ordered her to extinguish the cigarette, which she complied with although reports suggest she was “difficult” during the situation. Once the plane landed, authorities confronted her and provided a warning regarding her behavior. She was then free to leave.
Contacted for comment, LAX police indicated that they did not respond; however, it appears someone from Customs issued the warning.

Regarding the private plane service JSX, a spokesperson stated they had “no comment on the alleged events described.”
People close to Britney report that her mental health struggles remain a recurring issue in her life. Many are voicing concerns about her being released from conservatorship, stating that she may still require oversight.
As one source expressed, “The judge went so Hollywood, ignoring all of the medical reports and simply bending to the Free Britney advocates outside the courtroom.”
