30 June 2023 at 03:35 British tourist tagged the Colosseum Italian police say they have identified the man who scratched his and his girlfriend’s name into the wall of the Colosseum. They say it’s a tourist living in the UK. The man was identified by comparing photos, the police say in a press release. It does not contain the name of the male suspect or information about his whereabouts. Italian officials have vowed to find and punish the man who scrawled “Ivan + Hayley 23” on a wall in the Roman amphitheater. Similar offenses have previously been punished with large fines. (NTB-AP)
