19 August 2022 at 09:16 Bohinen new Stabæk coach Lars Bohinen will be the new coach for Stabæk’s football men, the 1st division club confirms on its website. The 52-year-old, who was sporting director at the club from 2007 to 2009, has signed a contract until 2023. Bohinen takes over after it was announced on Tuesday that Eirik Kjønø had finished as Stabæk coach. It happened after the team suffered three straight losses, including against bottom team Stjørdals-Blink last weekend. Bohinen was in place at Nadderud on Friday morning and will lead the team in Sunday’s match against Start. – We are very pleased to have Lars in place. It has been a couple of hectic days but now we are happy to reach the finish line, says sports manager Torgeir Bjarmann The club holds fifth place in the 1st division and has four points up on Ranheim in the direct promotion place. – The clear goal is to improve performance. We cannot have such a strong focus on results alone, we must focus on what creates the results: Performance, development and what happens in everyday life, says Bohinen.
