This was reported by several Israeli media and international news agencies. Netanyahu reportedly felt ill but was conscious all the way to the hospital. The newspaper The Jerusalem Post writes that the 73-year-old has undergone tests at the Sheba Medical Center in Ramat Gan in Tel Aviv. Haaretz reports the same. Reuters writes shortly after five that dehydration is said to have been the reason why Netanyahu ended up in the hospital. In a video shared from the hospital, the prime minister waves to the camera and reminds people to drink water in the heat and encourages them to stay in the shade when the sun is at its highest. The Prime Minister’s Office confirms that he was taken to Sheba Hospital, where he was examined throughout the evening. His condition is otherwise good, it says.
