At 17.05, the yellow bus runs from the State Administrator in Nordland. At 17.06, the bus parks at the terminus outside Aspmyra Stadium in Bodø. – It’s quite a comedy evening, says Freddy Thoresen in Avisa Nordland. OUT ON TOUR: The red line marks the route of the bus. I think maybe it’s a bit boring with the bus, but then we get to enjoy ourselves a bit for the 30 seconds, says Bodø/Glimts Villads Nielsen to news. – It’s okay. We are told that this is the case, so then we do not spend any more effort on it. Then we park there, jump on the bus and get ready for battle, says Wednesday’s all-rounder Jens Petter Hauge. – But it’s a bit funny, isn’t it? – Yes, but that’s how it is. – It wasn’t 200 steps once – They do it like that in the big world, you can understand that. Here in Norway it will be completely “corny”, says Thoresen. Avisa Nordland has mentioned the case previously. Journalist Freddy Thoresen stood ready outside the State Administrator while the Bodø/Glimt players came driving in order. – We think it was so hesitant that we chose to step up the distance. It wasn’t 200 steps once, says Freddy Thoresen in Avisa Nordland, who measured the distance at 220 metres. OUT ON A TOUR: Patrick Berg enters the bus in Bodø. They are not allowed to do that when the European Cup is played. It is a requirement from the European Football Association (Uefa) that causes the 220-metre long bus trip to be set up. – Uefa wants us to come together. That’s why it will be like this, says Team Manager in Bodø/Glimt Truls Bjerke. He is also on the bus trip. Bjerke stands at the front of the bus as a kind of bus host and hands out accreditation that the players must have in order to enter the pitch. The players still do not have to buy a return ticket; there is no requirement to leave the stadium together. Published 26/09/2024, at 05.29
