According to the newspaper, it will involve payments of between 15 and 20 million pounds (195 to 260 million kroner). The bonuses are said to have been paid to employees by the new owner, the major British bank HSBC. The payment took place after the bankrupt bank was saved through a crisis loan from the Bank of England.
