27 June 2023 at 08:06 Bane Nor receives criticism in investigation report A new report has arrived today about Bane Nor and the problems on the Folloban. “The evaluation concludes that new and partly unfamiliar framework conditions, combined with the fact that Bane NOR was not sufficiently successful in its management and control of the contractors and quality assurance of their choice of solutions, gave an increased risk of errors and deficiencies in technical installations. This enabled, among other things, errors in the execution of joints and end terminations, as well as dripping over the insulator, which caused the train-stopping incident,” the summary of the report states. The report has been prepared for Bane Nor by the consultancy company PWC. Yesterday, another report came out about the Follobanen: “Reporting and communication in large projects should improve in several areas”, recommends the company that has investigated the closure of the Follobanen this winter. That report was prepared by the Implement Consulting Group and was handed over to the Minister for Transport.
