SV, Raudt, Sp and Bergenslisten believe that Bakervik should retain city council power in Bergen. KrF, Venstre and the Pensioners’ Party believe Meyer should take over power. The party has said that in its meeting with acting mayor Eira Garrido (SV) today. Several parties believe that it is unfortunate and premature for Garrido to ask the party for clarification on the parliamentary situation now while negotiations and talks are still ongoing, and Bakervik is still city council leader. FRP, MDG and INP today do not want to “point to” either Meyer or Bakervik.
