Fiorentina had not conceded a point in the first three games of the season. Roma stood on their side with six points, but took over the top of the table with Saturday’s emphatic triumph. It was indeed Fiorentina who took the lead in the match after 24 minutes of play. Midfielder Michela Catena scored for the second time this season when she scored the lead goal. Then Roman Haug took the lead role. Eight minutes had been played in the second half when Haug steered the ball into the nearest corner with his head.
