Several Serbian media are reporting on the shooting in Mladenovac south of Belgrade. According to broadcaster RTC, eight have been killed and 13 injured after a perpetrator shot at a group of people and fled the scene. Newspaper Informer writes that the perpetrator was surrounded by the police, but refused to surrender. He allegedly shot at the police. According to the newspaper, eight are seriously injured. There must be children among the victims. The shooting takes place the day after a school shooting in which a 13-year-old killed eight students and a security guard. This led to Serbia’s government adopting a tightening of arms control.
