Police recorded at least 50 incidents related to suspicious activity during the Joint Viking defense exercise, which is ongoing from 3-14. March in Northern Norway. About half of the events are linked to drones, Lars Linden, section head of intelligence in Trom’s police district, reports to TV 2. – As of now, a criminal case has been established for illegal photography. In addition, there are two drone cases with submission and withdrawal, Linden tells the channel. Senior adviser in PST, Eirik Veum, informs the channel that they also received several inquiries through the exercise.
