At least 180 must be injured in the stampede. The clash took place at the Kanjuruhan Stadium in Malang when the home team’s supporters stormed the pitch after the match between Arema and Persebaya Surabaya, which ended 2–3. The police responded with tear gas, causing many supporters to faint and have breathing problems, reports CNN Indonesia. Two of the dead are supposed to be policemen.
