This is what the police in the South-East police district wrote in a press release. The accused man does not consent to imprisonment. He has not been questioned since he was arrested and charged on 14 September. The police wish to carry out interrogations as soon as possible, but it is not clear whether this will happen before the weekend. The detention petition has been sent to Ringerike, Asker and Bærum district court, Hønefoss court, which will process the petition. The case will proceed as office business. This means that the case is heard by the court without the parties being present.
