11 February 2023 at 18:05 Leicester with lightning-quick turnaround – Tottenham lost ground at the top Tottenham got a real lesson when the team visited Leicester on Saturday evening. “The foxes” fell behind early on, but hit back hard and won 4-1. Tottenham got off to a good start when Rodrigo Bentancur sent the team into the lead after just 14 minutes. However, it did little good as Nampaly’s Mendy equalized at 1-1, before James Maddison completed the turnaround just two minutes later. Four minutes into first-half injury time, Kelechi Iheanacho added to a 3-1 lead, before Harvey Barnes put the nail in the coffin 20 minutes before full-time. Wolverhampton also managed a turnaround when the team secured a 2-1 victory away to Southampton after being 0-1 down at half-time. At the same time, Fulham also secured an important 2-0 win at home against Nottingham Forest, and have really clung to the battle for a place in Europe next season.
