– There is a man who has been subjected to an incident of violence. Based on the circumstances of the case, we have armed ourselves in connection with the mission, says operations manager Kirsten Bergstrøm in the Trøndelag police district to Adresseavisen. The police received a report of the violent incident at 5.24am on Sunday morning. – The man who was out walking the dog says that he was subjected to violence and that he is injured. He has been transported by ambulance to St. Olav’s hospital. The extent of the damage is unknown, she says. Appears random The situation is unclear, and she does not want to say much more about what should have happened. – We are working to catch the perpetrators. There are probably more, she says. According to the police, the violence appears random and without any major pretext. Several patrols are participating in the search, including dog patrols. The police ask any witnesses who may have information in the case to contact them.
