If you experience something inappropriate at work, it is a good idea to raise this with the workplace’s safety representative. An employee who represents all employees in health, environment and safety (HSE) matters. Businesses with five or more employees must have at least one safety representative. It is the employees who must decide who will be the safety representative. So who do you actually tell if you are put in an uncomfortable situation as a young employee in the workplace?
