Appeal Satudarah decision – Latest news – news

23 May 2023 at 09:51 Appealing Satudarah decision The State Attorney is appealing the Oslo district court’s decision that allows the MC club Satudarah to continue to be in Norway. State attorney Ingelin Hauge confirms this to news. The MC club had to appear in court at the end of March, after the state attorney and the police wanted to ban them. The police believe the main purpose of the club is to engage in crime, not motorcycles. Therefore, the new law that allows for the prohibition of criminal associations was tried in court for the first time. The Oslo district court disagreed with the state attorney, and on 16 May issued a ruling allowing Satudarah to continue to be in Norway. The court believes that it is not necessary to ban the MC club in order to prevent serious crime. – We believe the ruling is thorough and clear that it is not proportionate to ban Satudarah. But at the same time, we are not surprised that there is an appeal against the ruling, the prosecutor’s office went out loud in the media ahead of the case and when they go for a crushing defeat, this is expected, says Satudarah’s lawyer Usama Ahmad.
