The 333-metre-long ship has a crew of between 4,500 and 5,200 men at all times, and the ship will receive assistance from the Norwegian Coast Guard, including two Norwegian pilots, the magazine writes. In connection with the visit, several thousand American soldiers will stay in Oslo, as also happened when the sister ship USS “Gerard R. Ford” visited the capital in May 2023. – This ship will be just as visible and roughly the same size.
