The health platform has discovered a new error which has led to 291 patients in Helse Møre og Romsdal not being seen further. Several of the patients have not been seen on waiting lists for further follow-up, they write themselves. The error was discovered on Friday 25 October. – This should not happen. We regret that there has not been a good enough system to follow up the deviation. We will now conduct a review of internal processes and operating routines to see how we can avoid this happening in the future, says Siri Berg, Acting Managing Director of Helseplattforma AS. They are in the process of investigating the error in the journal solution. The monitoring system was fixed the same day. – We deeply regret that the error has affected patients who are waiting for follow-up with us. It is too early to say whether the error will have negative consequences for the individual patient. Now we want to quickly and safely examine each individual patient and ensure that they receive the follow-up they should have. Those who are affected will be contacted continuously by us, says implementation manager Henrik Erdal at Helse Møre og Romsdal.
