21 February 2023 at 02:08 Alligator found in New York park Park staff in New York got a surprise when they found an alligator in one of the big city’s parks. The alligator was found in Prospect Park Lake, located in Prospect Park in the borough of Brooklyn, on Sunday morning. The alligator was in a fragile state. It was drowsy and had suffered a cold shock from the cold water. The approximately 1.2 meter long animal was captured and transported to the Bronx Zoo. Alligators have their natural habitat in the warmer climates of the southeastern United States. (NTB)
