16 December 2022 at 07:48 Aker BP to invest NOK 200 billion on the Norwegian continental shelf Aker BP and partners are today delivering a total of ten plans for development and operation and one plan for construction and operation to the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. With total investments of more than 200 billion, these constitute one of Europe’s largest private industrial ventures, they write in a stock exchange announcement. – The extent of the development plans that we are handing over to the Minister of Oil and Energy is a manifestation of our ambition to create the oil and gas company of the future with low costs, low emissions, profitable growth and attractive returns, says CEO of Aker BP, Karl Johnny Hersvik. The development plans will be handed over to Oil and Energy Minister Terje Åsland at an event at Aker BP on Friday 16 December at 09.00. There will also be a commemoration at the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate in Stavanger on Friday 16 December at 1pm.
