After mediation on overtime between NHO Geneo and the Norwegian Nurses Association (NSF), the parties reached an agreement. There will therefore be no strike for nurses in the private sector. – We have agreed on a new collective agreement, with new wage rates and new additions and a few other small things that we, the parties, think make sense to include in the agreement, says NHO’s negotiator Geneo Sigurd Løkholm to news. Almost three hours after the midnight deadline, the parties reached an agreement. – So we have a general supplement of seven kroner, we have increased non-confirmation supplements. Up-adjusted minimum wage rates. And then we have a committee that will look at regulation of sick pay and sick pay, says Løkholm. The committee must complete its work by the end of 2025 – We will exit the mediation with better minimum wage rates in the collective bargaining area, both for nurses and specialist nurses with longer seniority. That is a significant increase. Our members receive a general supplement in line with the frontline subject, says leader Lill Sverresdatter Larsen of the Norwegian Nurses Association. She describes the mediation as demanding, but constructive.
