Frøydis Armand fell asleep quietly on the night of Monday. The family confirms this to Dagbladet. Armand lived to be 73 years old. Interpreted over 100 roles Armand made her debut at the National Theater in the role of Regine in “Gengangere” by Henrik Ibsen in 1972. She has since been employed at the theatre, and interpreted over 100 roles. Armand interpreted several of Ibsen’s characters, including Bolette in “The Lady from the Sea”, Hedda in “Hedda Gabler”, Mrs Linde in “A Doll’s House” and Hedvig in “The Wild Duck”.
