21 March 2023 at 10:44 Action against the fishing industry in Troms – two arrested Police, Coast Guard, Økokrim, the Directorate of Fisheries and the Tax Agency are taking action against several actors in the fishing industry on Tuesday, writes Nordlys. Two people have been arrested and four companies have been charged in connection with the police operation. Erik Lieungh, senior communications adviser at the Troms police district, confirms to news that they have crews out at several locations. – We are assisting the police in this operation. Therefore, it is the case that the police are responding to this action, says Olav Lekve, press contact at the Directorate of Fisheries to the newspaper.
