* Norway has in practice had a ban on the export of war material to Israel for the past ten years.* A number of Norwegian weapons and weapon components still end up in Israel, via Norwegian arms manufacturers’ subsidiaries abroad.* Norway does not require an end-user declaration for weapons and weapon components that are sold to allies such as the USA, which can thus be freely re-exported to Israel.* Israeli forces use, among other things, anti-tank missiles of the M-72 type and armor-piercing Mk-211 ammunition produced by Norwegian Nammo, as well as rockets with Norwegian components and fuel.* Norwegian and Israeli suppliers of war material participate in research collaboration under the auspices of the EU.
