28 July 2022 at 16:53 Accused driver broke restraining order against deceased woman Last week, a woman was found badly injured in a car in the center of Askim. The woman was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. The driver claimed that the woman had jumped out of the car at high speed, and was charged with negligent homicide. Now it turns out that the man had been banned from visiting the woman last autumn. The ban applied until May this year. He broke that several times earlier in February – both by phone and in attendance. According to a judgment from the Oslo District Court, it was the woman who initiated the contact both times, but the court believed that this did not absolve the man of criminal responsibility. The man pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 21 days’ probation. It was Indre Akershus Blad that reported on the case first.
