The person will be transported for further health follow-up, says rescue manager Andreas Ingsøy at HRS Southern Norway, to news. The air ambulance has transported the patient to Snøheim. There, the patient is transported on with the SAR Queen helicopter from Ørlandet to St. Olav’s hospital. – It is now being investigated whether there are others in need where the accident occurred. The air ambulance is on its way in to see if there are more people who need help, says operations manager Atle Bernhoft von Obstfelder in the Innlandet police district, to news. The police in Innlandet reported at 10:55 that they had launched a rescue operation at Snøhetta, following a report that a person had fallen between Vesttoppen and Midttoppen. Snøhetta (2286 m.) is the highest mountain peak in Norway outside Jotunheimen.
