The detached house was engulfed in flames when the emergency services arrived at the scene at around 12.00 on Monday. The police confirmed later on Monday afternoon that a person had been found dead and that the next of kin had been notified. According to incident leader Svein Roger Lunde in the police, neighbors must have heard a bang before the house suddenly burst into flames. He describes it as an explosive fire. The fire brigade is working on extinguishing the fire. – The temperature has been high. It is an old house that has been demolished, says project leader Svein Roger Lunder to news. – Do you have any suspicions about the cause of the fire? – We don’t know, the investigators have to come back to that.
