16 March 2023 at 02:30 A person died in an accident at Haugenstua in Oslo The person who was hit on Østre Aker vei in Oslo just before midnight has been pronounced dead. The person was hit by a lorry and received life-saving first aid at the scene, but his life could not be saved. This is stated by operations manager Sven Christian Lie of the Oslo police. Relatives have not been notified, and the police will therefore not release any more information. The driver of the lorry is uninjured, but is being cared for by health personnel and the employer, says Lie. Østre Aker vei was closed at the Grorud junction for a couple of hours after the accident, but has now reopened.
