Sør-West police district reported a fire at a care home in Haugesund at 02.12 on Friday night, and then described the situation as unclear. Around three o’clock the police report that so far nine people have been evacuated. None of them have needed health care. The fire brigade described the fire as heavy when they arrived at the scene. Smoke divers and extinguishing work were launched. – There are supposed to be ten apartments in townhouses, at least two of which are on fire, reported 110 Sør-Vest on Twitter at 02.36. After questioning at the scene, a person has been arrested for the fire, the police say.
