On the night of Sunday, a person drove onto a pavement with a van in Steinkjer. The driver hit three people. Two of them are slightly injured, but the last one, a man in his 20s, was confirmed dead on Sunday. Trøndelag police district reported the collision at 02.19. Shortly afterwards they arrested a man (30) from Steinkjer who is now charged with negligent homicide. – This is a very serious incident with a tragic outcome.
