Last night, the police went to an apartment on Grünerløkka after reports of a disturbance. There they found two women with stab wounds. Both were taken to hospital, one critically and one seriously injured. Just after 11 o’clock on Monday, the police announced that both are now described as seriously injured, and out of danger. The victims are a woman in her 30s and a woman in her 50s. A man in his 30s has now been charged with attempted murder, the police told NTB. According to the police, there is a close relationship between those involved. The arrest in the city center The perpetrator was not in the apartment when the police arrived. The police searched for the perpetrator with a helicopter and dog patrols. – A suspected man in his 30s has just now been arrested, operations manager Gabriel Langfeldt in the Oslo police district told news at 03.23. Sometime later, the police announced that the man had been formally arrested and taken into custody. He was arrested in central Oslo. Langfeldt will not go into detail about what makes the police suspect the man, but says that there is a relationship between him and the victims. The police reported the incident at 2.27am.
