A man in his early 20s has been charged with attempted murder after a man of the same age was stabbed on Friday night. – The accused was arrested at an address at Sandane in Gloppen municipality just after midnight on the night of Saturday. The two are acquaintances and had been at a party together when the stabbing happened, says police prosecutor Eli Valheim in a press release. The victim was still hospitalized on Saturday. Due to confidentiality, the police cannot say anything more about his condition, according to Valheim. Both those involved are foreign nationals. The accused will be produced for remand on Monday, the police say.
