The person who died died of his injuries in hospital, reports the Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv. The driver has been shot and killed, the police report. The police suspect that it is a terrorist attack. It was civilians on the scene who shot the truck driver, who had Israeli citizenship. The incident is still under investigation. The Glilot neighborhood near Herzliya houses the Mossad headquarters, along with several Israel Defense Forces intelligence units.
