The Russian central bank raises the key interest rate to 21 percent, the highest level since February 2003, writes NTB. Inflation reached 9.8 per cent in September compared to 7.5 per cent in August, says the central bank. High inflation expectations and the deviation of the Russian economy as well as the deterioration of foreign trade are the most important inflation risks.
