Broad motion of no confidence against the party leadership in INP – news Vestland

In the Industrial and Business Party (INP), 15 out of 25 local groups in Vestland are behind a no-confidence motion against the party leadership. These 15 together have 33 of INP’s 65 municipal council representatives in Vestland. This is the county where INP is by far the largest, with 27% of their 238 municipal council representatives, and 4 of their 29 county politicians. In addition, party leader Ann Jorun Hillersøy (pictured) is from Vestland, but now has the majority of local teams against her. The background for the motion of no confidence is that last month the central government dissolved the entire county board and excluded both county leaders and deputy leaders in Vestland INP. In addition, the disbanded county team Vestland and four resigned board members of the local team Stord have signed the motion of no confidence. INP’s excluded group leader Bjarte Helland in the county council tells news that INP now risks a mass announcement of people’s elections and only being left with 15 people’s elections in the Vestland municipalities.
