A man is accused of mistreating his partner, and in one of the cases allegedly forced her to sleep in a dog cage and write a suicide note. According to the indictment, the man in his 30s is also said to have made death threats against the woman while she was in the dog cage. The abuse must have occurred over a period of almost one and a half years from 2021 to 2023. During this period, the man must also have exposed her to violence, including punches, kicks and strangulation. As a result of the violence, the woman suffered, among other things, a broken nose and ribs. In addition, he allegedly deprived her of her liberty several times. Eight days have been set aside for the trial, which starts on 25 February next year.
