Deer fell on car bonnet – news Vestland

The dramatic accident happened on county road 549 in Sundavegen, on the north-east side of Tysnes in Sunnhordland. The police received a report at 10.48am. There is an 80 zone on the site, where there are high crags on both sides of the road. The deer probably fell from one of the crags on the side of the road. The driver, a woman, has been treated by a doctor at the scene. The passenger car has received a solid push at the front. Only luck meant that the deer did not hit the windscreen of the car. The animal did not survive the fall. The deer died after the collision. Photo: Vest police district – The deer lies dead next to the car. It probably died instantly, says fire chief at Tysnes, Torfinn Kongsvik. According to the fire chief, deer are not uncommon in the area.
