– It is not good, of course, that someone – we don’t know who it is – but that someone does it. It is obviously not good that someone, a journalist and right now an agent, is writing a book about it, says Haaland at the press conference. The book “The battle for the national team” was written by TV 2 journalist Magnus Braaten and former TV 2 journalist Arilas Berg Ould-Saada, and was published earlier this autumn. There are messages from the national team’s group conversation on WhatsApp which are presented in several extracts in the new book. The messages are from November 2020, when corona virus hit the Norwegian men’s national team. Ould-Saada started on 1 October as an agent in the agent company Keypass, which has, among others, Alexander Sørloth and Sander Berge in the stable. – It has to be as it is. Several of the Norwegian players revealed on Tuesday that there had been an internal reaction as a result of the leaks that emerged in the book. Substitute captain It is the second time this year that Haaland has appeared at a press conference organized by the national team. He also did it in connection with the match against the Czech Republic in March. It was then the first press conference he attended since September 2022.
