The police have received a report of a traffic accident between two cyclists and a car in Verdal in Trøndelag. The road is closed. The emergency services are on the scene. – Two people have been taken by ambulance to the trauma unit at Levanger hospital, says operations manager at Trøndelag police district, Stian Aalberg. The police state that this appears to be a serious accident where two cyclists have been hit at high speed. The accident must have happened on Jamtlandsvegen in Verdal. The two are said to be in their teens and were conscious when they were picked up by the ambulance. The police are now carrying out a crime scene investigation at the scene of the accident.
