One person has been diagnosed with measles at the emergency department in Oslo – Greater Oslo

– We have an overview of the patients who stayed in the same areas during the period in question. The emergency services have called everyone concerned, but not everyone has answered the phone. That’s what municipal superintendent Tanja Tomasevic writes in a press release. We are talking about 144 patients and their relatives who have stayed in the infected areas. Please contact the emergency department Anyone who was at the emergency department on Wednesday 18 September between 10.00 and 15.30 is asked to contact the emergency department if they have not already spoken to them, if they have not been vaccinated or know that they have been vaccinated. Measles is transmitted through the air and by contact with liquid from the respiratory tract. The disease is highly contagious, but those who are vaccinated are well protected against infection. Published 21.09.2024, at 10.08 Updated 21.09.2024, at 10.12
