Dag Johan Haugerud’s film “Kjærlighet”, which has been nominated for the Golden Lion in Venice, was awarded the film critics prize Bisato d’Oro in Venice on Friday evening. It took place in front of Palazzo Del Cinema, news is confirmed by NFI. The Bisato d’Oro is an independent film prize awarded during the Venice Film Festival by a group of film critics. It is a parallel price to the festival’s official prices. It is the first time a Norwegian film has competed for the honorary prize since 1986. The film “Kjærlighet” is number two in Haugerud’s trilogy about sex, dreams and love. The cast includes Lars Jacob Holm and Tayo Citadella Jacobsen, who were photographed on the red carpet on Friday. Andrea Bræin Hovig, Marthe Engebrigsten and Thomas Gullestad also take part in the film and are spending the weekend at the film festival. The winner of Gulløven will be decided on Saturday.
