Trond Giske was sued by the craftsman company Salvatori AS after they renovated the bathroom in his apartment in Oslo. Handverkarfirmaet and Giske entered into an agreement to renovate a bathroom in 2021. But after the work was delayed, Giske withheld part of the contract sum and a dispute arose. At the same time that Giske has to pay NOK 53,404 to Salvatori AS, Giske receives NOK 29,964 in compensation from the company. The claim was originally up to NOK 250,000. As a result, Giske avoided paying large parts of the claim. – I am happy that Salvatori’s attempt to get paid for fictitious additional work in cash has been rejected, writes Giske in a text message to E24.
