The police drove into a car after a car chase through Oslo’s streets – Greater Oslo

The car chase started at the bottom of Trondheimsveien in Oslo, where the police tried to stop a car that was driving recklessly, but the driver sped on. – The driver drove like a wild man and the patrol had to abort the attempt to stop the car. A passenger got out of the car before the driver sped off, says operations manager Rune Kremmervik Hekkelstrand in the Oslo police district. Ten minutes later, the driver drove into several cars below Sinsenkrysset. The driver drove so irresponsibly that a patrol eventually had to drive into the car in Østgaards gate to stop the driver from continuing. So far, the driver has explained that he ran away from the police because he does not have a valid driving licence, says the operations manager. The police also suspect the driver of drink driving, so tests will be taken to clarify this. The police also say they have made seizures that may explain why the driver did not want a police check. They will not say exactly what they found in the car for the sake of the investigation. CRASH: The driver did not have a driving license and the police suspect that drugs were involved.
